Video and Slides Collection

For the virtual DSN’21 conference, we are going to collect the presentation videos and slides from the authors. The presentation slides and videos will be posted on a password-protected website prior to the conference and remain accessible to the registered attendees throughout the conference. The attendees can participate in the paper discussions asynchronously via Slack channels. In addition, we will arrange a video conferencing Q&A session for each paper, where the authors will answer live.

Presentations :

Authors are required to record videos of their presentations and prepare their slide decks prior to the conference. Videos and slide decks are due by Friday, June 4, 2021. Submission instructions will be emailed to the registered authors.

Video Specifications :

● H. 264 MP4 file format
● 1080p
● 16:9 aspect ratio
● 500MB max file size
● Clear audio (headphones and headsets are permitted)
● The following file naming convention, wherein [last name] is the last name of the presenting author of the       paper.

   DSN21_[track name]_[paper id]_[last name].mp4

   For regular paper, set [track name] as ‘regular’.

   For industrial track paper, set [track name] as ‘industry’.

   For fast abstracts paper, set [track name] as ‘fa’.

   For doctoral forum track paper, set [track name] as ‘df’.

   For workshop paper, set [track name] as the name of the workshop
      (DCDS, SSIV, AITS, DSML, or SAS).

   (e.g., DSN21_regular_12_lee.mp4)

● If you would like to provide a longer version of presentation (in addition to the standard-length version),           please add ‘long’ suffix to the file name.

   (e.g., DSN21_regular_12_lee_long.mp4)

● Fullscreen slides with a speaker inset, as shown here:

   Please ensure that your speaker inset does not cover any pertinent information on your slides.

Slides Specifications :

● 16:9 aspect ratio preferred
● Introduction slide at the beginning of your presentation that clearly lists the name of your paper and the       authors
● Closing slide to thank your audience and/or collaborators and list your contact information should you wish to       receive follow-up questions from attendees
● With page numbers
● PDF Format
● The following file naming convention, wherein [last name] is the last name of the presenting author of the       paper.

   DSN21_[track name]_[paper id]_[last name].pdf
